 horizontally tracked double door spring selector

pre 1998 springs had the part number  stamped on an aluminium tag
post 1998 the part number is stamped on an end loop of the spring (last three digits only)

Note: Garador recommend that these spring units are
replaced in pairs, consequently we don't sell them individually

Double width Garadors have four springs per door - replacement springs are supplied in pairs and must be replaced as a pair. i.e.: one new spring installed on each side of the door. (you can mix old & new springs but these must consist of one 'old' & one 'new' spring on each side of the door)

S108-7** series springs are 725mm long  -  S108-9** series springs are 640mm long
(length measured from inside the end loops when relaxed)

Notes regarding early Westland Garador doors:

Garador S108-9## series springs measure 640mm
(measured inside the end loops when relaxed)
early type "DR" & "RM" Garador springs were approx. 45mm longer but these are discontinued. 

 

Replacement springs for early double width type 'R' and type PN87 doors with 'cranked' offset pivot arms are no longer available as these doors are now obsolete, no alternative springs are available but we do stock a suitable door gear kit to enable full refurbishment & automation. click here for details
